3 Reasons Why It's Great to Be Latina!

Hey guys! So as you may have seen on my instagram [Follow @palomaalamode]    I was recently in Mexico. While I was there, I realized how many reasons why I love being Latina! There are so many reasons, but here are '3 Reasons Why It's Great Being Latina'!

(Disclaimer: I'm not saying it's not great being other races or cultures. It's great to embrace your culture and love who you are! This is just me embracing who I am.)

Reason 1: Your Abuelita Loves To Feed You!
My abuela makes the best food when I visit her, and gets me to eat it all!! She offers me tinga, quesadillas, gorditas, conchas, and the list goes on. Oh my gosh I looove mexican food! 

Reason 2: You Can Go Out With Your Entire Family and Nobody Cares

Latinos often have REALLY big families, I know I do! So it's normal to go to the mall or even a Pitbull concert with your parents, siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins. Then, it's not embarrassing when you see your friends - because they're also with their parents, siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins!

Reason 3: You Get To Have Quinceañera!! 

When a girl turns 15, she has a big party called a quinceañera, it's kind of like a Latin Sweet 16. I had a quince when I was in Mexico and it was so much fun! I got to wear a big puffy dress, a tiara, and super cute heels! To make it better, I had my party at a castle! It really made me feel like a 'princesa'!
