Gadabout!

This year for my birthday I was given the perfect present - a gift certificate to Gadabout, one of Toronto's best vintage stores! It was so cool because they have all kinds of vintage items like clothes, hats, gloves, photos, cosmetics and so much more!

They had tons of great stuff, but I decided on a very cute, early 1950's black dress covered in cute little white polka dots and hearts. I had fun trying matching hats and glasses from the same era. An important thing to know with vintage, is that some materials can be delicate, like this one. Be sure to put your iron on a low setting and cover the fabric with a sheet or cloth. Better yet, use a steamer if you have one.
