Boys' Fashion Police!

OK so I recently came back from a trip to Mexico to see my family. Hanging out with my cousins made me realize: “The guys here look so cool!”. So I thought that I should do a post about boys’ looks because I have seen a few faux pas over the years. Here I have a checklist of what I think makes a good outfit for guys:

Length of pants and track pants!!!!! Please wear them below your ankles!!!

Low-riding, please wear your pants at your waist or just below, and buy a belt! We don't want to see all that!

SOCKS. Either wear ankle socks or scrunch them down. Just please don’t wear them pulled up all the way!

Peach-fuzz. Shave it off. Just SHAVE. IT. OFF. You can be a hipster or grow a beard when you’re like 35 or something, but get rid of the fuzz. (And don't worry - it won't grow in faster or thicker - that's an old wives tale.)

Speaking of shaving, my cousins use aftershave, but they live in a hot climate so it makes sense. It's not necessary if you make sure to shower every day, wash your clothes and use deodorant. If you do use aftershave or cologne that's ok, but nothing too overpowering.

And last but not least, hair. It’s not as big as the other ones but I think it should be acknowledged. I think that a nice clean hair cut looks much nicer than the shaggy look. No more Beiber bangs! And a little gel goes a long way, so play with it and find a style that suits you. Unless you have curls - then a faux hawk or mini fro are cool too.

Here are my star models wearing all the do’s and don’ts of boys fashion!

Before: Sorry it was hard to make him un-cool!

After: Casual, cool and following the rules
Before: Messy hair, high socks, and sheer cuteness!
After: What a cutie!

Well that's all for this post!
XOXO, Paloma Torres
P.S. Life's always better with ice cream!
